Review: ELES Cosmetics Autumn Collection

April 18, 2018

I do rather like autumn, the weather eases off (usually - last week it ramped back to three days above 35 then plummeted to 19, wind and raining here in Adelaide) , dresses with sleeves come back into the stores and ankle boots are a comfortable and cute option. Plus we get to see some lovely seasonal colours in cosmetics - just like this limited edition Autumn collection palette kindly sent to me for review by ELES Cosmetics.

ELES Cosmetics Autumn Collection Palette | Almost Posh

ELES Cosmetics are an Australian company, offering a range of top quality mineral makeup that contains no chemical nasties or potential irritants, like fragrance, talc, oil or dyes. It's also cruelty-free, thereby ticking a lot of boxes for the discerning cosmetic lover. Gentle on sensitive skin, including acne, rosacea and hyperpigmentation, it is also suitable for use after chemical peels, laser treatments and waxing. That is a whole lot of goodness for one's face.

Here's a daytime look I put together using the palette:

I used the gold and pink blush on the eyes and the bronzer on the cheeks as blush.

For the evening look, I ramped up the drama and added a bold lip, winged eye and some hair.

This is a very luxe palette - highly pigmented and a delight to use. It's pricey, sure, but the quality is unquestionable and being an Australian brand, it's worth supporting.

Have you used anything from ELES Cosmetics? Are you keen to?
